The Management of ALCOMET AD hereby officially declares its HEALTHY AND SAFETY POLICY which is stated, fully understood, actively supported and maintained at all levels of the Organization.

The Healthy and Safety Policy is adequate for the company activities for production and realization of aluminum products, at conditions of maintained health and safety labor conditions in compliance with the active legislation and providing optimal benefits for the Organization and all engaged parties.

The Management fully accepts its responsibilities to follow its HEALTHY AND SAFETY POLICY and its main objectives:

•Implementation of the activities in compliance with the existing legislation of  Republic of Bulgaria and any other
 requirements of health and safety labor conditions, including the health and safety requirements of the parties concerned, improvement of infrastructure and working conditions for the protection of the employees engaged in the Organization;
•Effective management of the hazards of health and safety of the personnel. Minimizing any foreseeable risks at work and  protection of employees from injury or occupational disease is a major continuing objective;
•Adequate use of technology, engineer decisions and measures for avoiding incidents and accidents;
•Effective use of the available material, human and financial resources to satisfy the needs and expectations of
the employees, the society and engaged parties;
•Training of personnel to enhance its qualification and motivation to work in accordance with the Health and Safety at Work  regulations;
•Commitment to meet all legislative requirements and maintenance of the highest work safety standards as an inseparable part of the management principles;
•Continuing motivation of the personnel and constant improvement of working conditions in the Organization to achieve company prosperity;
•Reinvestment into new production technologies to eliminate hazards of human health due to Organization activities and maintenance of constant high quality of offered products.

ALCOMET AD has developed, implanted and actively supported by the whole management and executive body an Integrated Management system (IMS) in compliance with the Standard BS OHSAS 18001:2007 to realize this Policy and its objectives.

The Health and Safety Policy is realized by a Management Program and constant improving of working conditions, the Program sets out particular objectives, defines terms, responsibilities and indicators for success measuring. The Program fulfillment, the implementation of objectives of the Health and Safety at Work regulations is regularly tested.
  
The adequacy of the Policy, the rate of implementation of the objectives and the program, the correspondence to the legislation and any other applicable requirements, the Integrated

Management system (IMS) condition and the improvement possibilities shall be periodically tested by the internal audits and Management inspection.

The declared HEALTH AND SAFETY POLICY is in congruence with the Vision and the Strategy of the Management for the future development of the company.

We, the executive members of the Managing Board of ALCOMET AD, declare hereby our personal involvement and responsibility to the implementation of the stated Health and Safety Policy.
